3D Digital Mammography

Earlier Detection, Clearer Results, and Greater Peace of Mind

Women's Health Excellence

Digital Mammography & 3D Tomosynthesis

At Imperial Imaging, we are dedicated to providing the highest standard of breast health care. Our facility is equipped with advanced Digital Mammography systems featuring 3D Tomosynthesis. Unlike traditional 2D mammography, which can sometimes hide abnormalities in dense breast tissue, 3D technology allows our radiologists to examine breast tissue layer by layer, identifying small lesions that might otherwise go unnoticed.

This technology significantly reduces the need for "call-backs" and improves the detection of invasive breast cancer by up to 40%. Our commitment to early detection is matched by our dedication to patient comfort, ensuring that your screening experience is as stress-free and efficient as possible.

The 3D Advantage:

  • Clearer images of dense breast tissue
  • Earlier detection of invasive cancers
  • Reduced anxiety from fewer false positives

The Importance of Early & Accurate Detection

Early detection is the single most important factor in successfully treating breast cancer. Regular mammograms can identify changes in breast tissue years before they can be felt during a physical examination. Our radiologists recommend annual screenings for women starting at age 40, or earlier for those with a family history of breast health concerns.

Comprehensive Breast Imaging Philosophy

Our approach goes beyond the scan itself. We provide a complete diagnostic pathway, integrating mammography with specialized breast ultrasound and, when necessary, MRI. This multi-modality approach ensures that every finding is thoroughly evaluated, providing the highest possible diagnostic confidence for our patients.

"We are committed to providing a compassionate and accurate screening environment for every woman."
